HOW TO INCREASE SCOOTER PERFORMANCE

Now that you have your scooter, and you want more power or speed, I have listed 10 things that you can do. Before you decide to start adding performance parts, it would be a good idea to decide what you want to do. Do you want more power for hills? Do you want more power off the line? Do you want more speed? Do you want to race, etc. When I got my first 150cc scooter, I was in Wisconsin on very flat roads. I kept it stock, and could scoot around town, and keep about 50mph, with great fuel economy. When the summer was over and I brought the scooter home, I knew that I had a problem. I weigh in about 200 lbs. The roads around town here are very hilly, and it is quite windy at times. The first time I took the scoot out to go to town, I was traveling about 45 mph when I started going up the hill and by the time I got to the top, I was doing about 30 mph in a 45 mph speed zone. Not good. In the next ten steps, I will try to explain what to do. If you think your scoot is just fine stock and you are happy with the performance, leave it alone, but if you are like me, I had to do something. Come back often. Thank You.
